Founder

  • She is the founder of Art in Facto, a boutique content agency specializing in tech and  lifestyle brands. 

    Throughout her career she has had the opportunity to apply her expertise in a number ways and tap into diverse disciplines, including B2B and B2C marketing/PR, digital and social media, influencer relations/management, employee communications, as well as high impact events, and content production. 

    Some of the brands she’s worked with include Visa, MasterCard, Olivia AI (Nubank now), TAG Heuer, Breitling, Muzo Emerald Colombia, Porsche, Fossil Group, FedEx, Visit Florida, HBO, FIFA World Cup, Copa America, Miami Open, TECHO, among others.

    Aimee’s worked in diverse environments – in-agency, in-house and as a freelancer in the U.S., Latin America and Europe, making her a versatile and knowledgeable resource.

Calex Guimarães
Brand and Creative Strategist

  • For the last 20 years, he’s been designing and implementing award-winning 360 campaigns for clients across the U.S. and Latin America.

    He’s instrumental in the ideation of brand and digital strategy at Art in Facto for clients.

    Calex’s advertising career began in his native Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Right out of college, he co-founded an agency that, during the course of 10 years, grew up to be one of the most award-winning agencies in Rio, with over 50 professionals and a solid client roster that included brands like SulAmerica ING, Embratel and Coca-Cola.

    In 2006, Calex moved to São Paulo and launched Strawberry Frog Brazil, amassing - in just two years - clients like Microsoft, Samsung, Whirlpool and PepsiCo. In 2008, Calex was invited to join one of WPP’s leading digital agencies in Brazil - Wunderman, as part of the team pitching Nokia’s Global Digital business. After winning the pitch, Calex ran the account in Brazil, supporting its global roll out.

    A year after he was offered a position at Y&R Miami to run the Latin America business across 8 different countries. There, he worked as Vice President of Client Services, overseeing a group of accounts like Coca-Cola, FedEx and Miller Coors, and leading the new business practice.

Shep Doniger
Media & Content Strategist

  • financial services/payments or consumer packaged goods companies, Shep Doniger has spent nearly 30 years creating successful strategies and messaging, developed deep connections with key influencers and implemented interesting and differentiating programs that achieve the desired results for clients.

    He has helped build brands and protect the reputation of U.S. Senators and big city Mayors as well as that of the Chairman of IBM. He’s run the NY offices of two advertising/PR agencies leading accounts that included Olympus, Seiko, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Bank One.

    He’s created and run marketing events, media trained business leaders and managed crisis situations across industry sectors with a keen eye on building and protecting brands while satisfying business objectives. Shep has energized emerging consumer brands in areas as diverse as beverages, foods and technology helping them gain awareness, credibility, trial and pull/sales.

Alejandra Cadiz
Sr. Project Manager

  • Her client roster includes Delta Air Lines, FedEx Latin America, Anthem, U.S. Cellular and Office of Women’s Health.

    For six years, she led five Ketchum offices (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico) for FedEx Latin America managing projects including different marketing disciplines. She was responsible for planning and overseeing projects in the five markets to ensure they were completed in a timely fashion and within budget. She orchestrated major business announcements such as FedEx acquisitions of MultiPack in Mexico and Rapidao Cometa in Brazil.

    She worked for four years as a senior consultant for Delta Air Lines, working closely with the airline’s manager for the Latin American and Caribbean region on both the development and implementation of consumer brand marketing strategies.

    Alejandra provides key insights to clients that are aiming to reach the Latin America and U.S. Hispanic markets through innovative and culturally relevant programs. She has worked on both the strategic development and tactical implementation of consumer brand marketing plans for her clients. Alejandra has also managed press bureaus and major events in Latin America—planning and supervising special promotional events. Her expertise also involves managing the development and implementation of public relations/community sponsorship plans within the multilingual speaking markets in the United States and Latin America.

Ana Sosa
Social Media Strategist

  • This was a breakthrough study at the time because it was published long before brands even had the option of advertising on social media and Twitter had only been around for a couple of years.

    She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Communications and an MA in Creative Writing from Kennesaw State University (KSU). Ana has implemented successful social media strategy and developed breakthrough content for brands such as TAG Heuer, Olivia AI, Philip Stein, TLC, Discovery Channel, UFC, Amnesty International, Kotex, Revlon, Blackberry, Alcatel Mobile, ManCityFC and Mahou.

    Ana was a key player in the development of the English Premier League US-based influencer strategy during their summer tour in the U.S. and traveled to Los Angeles and Nashville with a number of influencers to ensure content opportunities during the trip were seized and maximized to their full potential.

Kristin Copeland
Sr. Copywriter

  • Kristin currently works for clients spanning the health care, pharmaceutical, food production, financial services and refining / petrochemical industries, setting communications strategy and developing content as an expert writer. She also supports several internal communications teams in the thick of one of the most critical moments in employee relations history: the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Throughout her career, she supported communications programs for consumer and B2B brands — from major retailers and leading logistics companies to food / restaurant brands and nonprofit organizations. Kristin specifically has several years’ experience with purpose-driven content, having worked with Walmart’s sustainability communications team for more than five years, as well as managing a key activation with NBA superstar Anthony Davis on behalf of H&R Block’s teen financial literacy CSR program. She also led the Build-A-Bear Workshop team, focusing on the company’s charitable giving and counsel to the Build-A-Bear Foundation.

    Kristin graduated from Harding University with a degree in public relations and Spanish. Prior to her communications career, Kristin taught English in a Spanish primary school near Madrid as part of the Spanish government’s English language and culture assistant program. When she’s not on the clock, she enjoys attempting to teach her two boys Spanish and trying new recipes with her husband, while daydreaming of post-COVID-19 trips they can take.

Marisol Hernandez
Jr. Project Manager

  • She’s worked for a number of brands over the years including: McDonald’s, Mastercard, The Coca-Cola Company, Skype, LinkedIn and HBO.

    She is a pro at managing multi-market executions in the U.S. and Latin America.

Patrick Foarde
Sr. Copywriter

  • Patrick has worked with a diverse cross section of leading companies including Acuity Brands, AT&T Mobility, BP, Brightstar, Cox
    Communications, Equifax, IBM, Intel, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, FedEx, Newell Rubbermaid, North Highland Consulting and Nokia.

    Patrick specializes in strategic communications counsel and planning, with an emphasis on corporate reputation management, executive visibility, industry thought leadership and issues & crisis management. He consults regularly with clients on communicating business strategy and
    transformation to external and internal stakeholders. He has created a proprietary B2B Storytelling model called Marketplace Eminence, which drives business impact through industry thought leadership and visibility in vertical sectors. In addition to counseling clients, Patrick is a skilled business writer who develops corporate and brand narratives, key messages, speeches, bylined articles, white papers, case studies, and web and social media copy.

    Patrick has received several PR industry awards, including the PRSA Silver Anvil for the grand opening of the Esquire IMAX Theatre in Sacramento, Calif., the IABC Crystal Award for print media advertising and local PRSA Phoenix awards for B2B content.
